If the plan is to have Cam be the starter then this would be all bad. Even a rookie QB needs to have some leadership abilities and the last thing we need is people in the locker room who love Jake (and let be honest who in the locker room doesn't love Jake) overriding Cam and looking to Jake.

Loved Jake when he was here, but him mentoring Cam and Jimmy, no thanks. While he did do somewhat well to protect the ball, steve smith also saved him from A LOT of picks. Just chucking the ball in Steve's direction and trusting him to make a better play than the defenders isn't something I want Cam to start doing.
