He has had a better career than Payne and Hudson combined, so I would think he would probably make the team.

Considine can play... I remember watching him at the combine when he came out and Mayock loved him. And Philly is usually great at picking DBs, and they drafted him... He's produced to some degree in Philly and Jax. He's a hard-nosed, gritty, fairly athletic player.

I think he could push Godfrey for playing time, if not outright take the starting job from him.

Good backup to Martin, he knows the defense that the Panthers will likely run. i am not a fan of him starting or being counted on as a guy to be a playmaker or intercepter, but he's a good backup to have.

I remember when guys were talking about Chris Harris like that when he came here from Chicago. If Considine comes in and plays anything like Harris did in his first season he will be the starter in game one.
