I think Smitty knows Jake is done.

Problem is Jake was a great leader.....you can't have him sitting #3 with Cam trying to grow into that role. Too many of Jake's former boys would look to him for certain things. Cam needs a vet no on else is emotionally tied to.

smith also knows he's jake's first read on almost every single passing play too, so that, and the understanding that he's a "playmaker" is all he needs to think we'll score more and the offense will be more productive
