I never bet on the Panthers. I'm too biased to pick against them, and if for some reason I do think they would lose/under I don't want to be in position to feel like I have to pull against them.

might be tough though....as I think the late season Panthers will be a totally different team especially if Cam starts week 1. Could be a tough team late.

Vegas odds are always skewed based on the perception of those betting. The NFC East is always perceived to better than it really is because they are all large market teams.

The Panthers should be rated closer to 6, and the Cowboys should be 7.5. But Vegas will still get plenty of people betting the over on Dallas and the under on the Panthers.

You can't have all the NFC East teams doing well without projecting lower for another team. The Panthers are an easy target. Just remember Vegas odds are based on a perception much more than reality.

The Panthers will be better this year. We are in the toughest division in football though so who knows how it will end up.

Wins and losses don't really matter much this year. Cam Newton's development as a franchise QB is the most important thing.
