"Williams is a one-time Pro Bowler who has averaged 842 rushing yards per season in his career. Peterson has averaged 1,442 while Forte has 1,078 yards. So if DeAngelo Williams got $21 million in guarantees, what does Peterson (and, for that matter, Chris Johnson of the Tennessee Titans) merit? How about $25 million? Do I hear $30 million?"

I love how the guys look at one stat, total yards, when it comes to comparing RB's and then calls it a day. 842 yards per season is pretty damn good seeing as 2 of those were as a backup. In his first full season as a starter he was the best RB in the NFL in my opinion. Sure AP had more yards but he also had like 100 more carries, if he didn't have more yards it would be an absolute failure. This guy makes it seem like we gave a garbage RB way too much money. While I agree I wouldn't have paid quite that much given the situation, but if I had a choice over AP, CJ and Dwill, I would take Dwill all day long.

Though his agument is flawed as he does not take into consider other variables and factors that played until the results, it is resonable for most people to feel that CJ and AP deserves much more $$$ than D-Will.
