He's just below the elite (Reed, Polamalu) tier - but trending up. That being said, I would've put his worth around or maybe a little less than what Mikell got. I'd say that the Weddle deal is like your deal with Johnson, we may have overpaid, but it was a LOT better than the alternatives.
