ive flown dozens of times and never had my luggage lost, but my pack is now somewhere in fiji and i am back in north carolina. fail.

i put in a lost baggage claim at LAX. they said they'd do their best to track it down and fedex it to me once it arrived. (which could be nice considering i didn't have to pay any checked bag fees on my flights back to NC.)

im just worried about not getting the cargo... besides phone chargers/clothes/books i've got a lot of cool stuff i'm bringing home... laotian machete, bottle of burmese rum, bottle of vietnamese snake whiskey, vietnamese laquerware teaset for my wife... i'll be beyond disappointed if this ends up not back in my possession.

yeah i'll have some up in a day or so. the last two weeks have been a little bumpy, missing flights and having flights canceled on me with no warning, and kiribati has virtually no internet access, so i haven't been able to keep uploading pictures. that will change shortly.
