With Cofield off the market, would the majority prefer to go to options B or C at the DT position, or role with who we have on the roster now and make a big play for an elite CB FA like Joseph?

Assuming we lock up our core first and foremost.

Get Joseph and scoop a DT with the spare change. There are a lot of experienced reliable DT's in FA. None of them are superstar guys anyway.

Problem is, if it's some of the numbers being reported, they could've paid it, and if he was our #1 priority then you'd think we would have.

Secondly, I haven't seen it reported anywhere that we were even involved, so where are you getting that we even offered anything? #1 targets get pursued and get offered what they want regardless of other needs.

Our number 1 target in free agency not within the organization. All my posts I have been saying were priorities are 1. CJ 2. D-Will. The team is not going to spend on other free agent until they see how much money they will be giving to CJ and D-Will.

Alright, it was funny the first few times but 5 pages of useless bashing is about as funny as that *smokescreen* sh*t was after the third time it was used. Fine something else to talk about now, Coefield is not a Panther, who gives a f*ck we got two rookie DT's that are now presented with great opportunites in their first year. Let's see what they can do and let's see what the Panthers can do.

I am admitting I was wrong,but do not act like I said Cofield was 100% coming to the Panthers. I was told Carolina or St. Louis and the Redskins were committed to Franklin. I was wrong. But do not act like it is impossible for a team to get outbid. Just because someone is someone else's number 1 target that does not mean they are going to get them. I have said all along the Panthers priorities are CJ and D-Will. They will get a DT.
