I'm actually wondering if Rosario might be the other athletic TE that we're looking at adding to Shockey and Barnidge?

Reason?

Because he is obviously athletic and versatile. How many times has he hurdled a guy after the catch? Or when he did get a catch with room to move he stretched it for all the yards he could? A lot. Almost every catch I remember him making was of that nature...

But, he didn't do it a lot, mainly because our QB play sucked the last 2 years plus (outside of most of MM's games). With a new dedication to TE involvement, using them to stretch the field, and having a QB who can throw and extend plays, I think he would flourish, just as Shockey and Barnidge should.

Yeah, I agree 100%. I would be fine with a combo of Shockey, Barndige, and Rosario. Plus Rosario should come fairly cheap.

I never brought Rosario into my discussion on King and how he was one of the worst TEs in the NFL statistics wise.
