Gamble has the talent to be elite but I wouldn't say he's elite, not yet anyway. But I always feel comfortable with him covering the other teams #1.

I might consider the top 4-5 players at each position in the league, elite players.

Gamble isn't elite but we don't need an elite status, not as much as those other positions. Gamble is above average so a star would be overly optimistic, what we need is another 'Gamble' to create a duo. Gamble is the most underrated player in this forum. His worst times come at a time the whole team is playing bad, make the connection. He isn't elite but he is a vet definitely worth keeping around, albeit slightly overpaid.

Gamble is underrated because of issues with John Fox last year that pegged him in a bad light with the public. I won't hate on him until i see what he does with the new staff. He was a very good corner for a number of years.

Gamble is a beast, he just had a season last year that de-motivated him. Hell the whole team was de-motivated last year. Gamble will bounce back. The Panthers already have alot of positive energy flowing with all of the "what ifs" and other unknowns. It's an exciting time.

I'd say Gamble bounces back. He's one of the few corners that I've seen who could handle Aaron Rogers and he is notorious for picking corners apart.
