This is the deal that will turn his critics (like me) around about how he's committed to putting the talent on the field to compete and win the division title.

Looks like I can buy my season tix in confidence that we are going to have a great team to put around Cam.

Jerry Richardson is no different this season than any other outside of 2010.

True, but the biggest problem for our 2-14 team was our passing game. In fact, it was one of the worst in the history of the NFL IMO. We did take one step to fix that by drafting Newton. And we have some young receivers. We definitely need a vet QB and WR (either Smith or someone else if he leaves), but even if we get those things, the passing game isn't going to be fixed completely this year.

The other areas were not that bad, and just need some tweaking. Getting better at DT is a must though.

Richardson has no issues paying big bucks for talent. If I'm not mistaken, wasn't Smitty the highest paid WR in football for a couple of years? I may be crazy but I don't really follow salaries all that closely because it pisses me off that I don't make that much. :) Kinda like rubbing salt in a wound.
