Oh yeah... This thread is useless...

95% of all the jokes and threads since I've joined have been about how cheap JR is and his pie charts...

^He actually makes a major signing and all of the sudden nobody talks about how cheap ^He is anymore.

Gang up on me all u want. My swag speaks for itself. All knowledge... Not one gif or pic. And b4 u say that swag don't matter... The only ones that say that don't have any... Not that I live my life off of e-swag, but I'm pretty sure that's how a poster is measured around here.

I made 3 posts that maybe werent the best threads... But way better than 90% of the ones created in the offseason if for no other reason it was REAL news...Suddenly I'm garbage?

This is fodder until the season starts...

My real life swag far exceeds huddle swag...

I present to you exhibit A .. Myself .. i'm useless , I make jokes and participate in the occasional football argument :p Yet I am the youngest with a mil of swag .. I'm pretty sure it means nothing at this point.

What makes this such an important signing is that this was the kind of deal he let JPep walk over. JR is showing that it wasn't about giving a player a good contract. This is the deal that will turn his critics (like me) around about how he's committed to putting the talent on the field to compete and win the division title.

Looks like I can buy my season tix in confidence that we are going to have a great team to put around Cam.

We have resigned one member of our 2-14 team and added a few rookies.

We aren't anywhere yet

True, but the biggest problem for our 2-14 team was our passing game. In fact, it was one of the worst in the history of the NFL IMO. We did take one step to fix that by drafting Newton. And we have some young receivers. We definitely need a vet QB and WR (either Smith or someone else if he leaves), but even if we get those things, the passing game isn't going to be fixed completely this year.

The other areas were not that bad, and just need some tweaking. Getting better at DT is a must though.

Richardson has no issues paying big bucks for talent. If I'm not mistaken, wasn't Smitty the highest paid WR in football for a couple of years? I may be crazy but I don't really follow salaries all that closely because it pisses me off that I don't make that much. :) Kinda like rubbing salt in a wound.

      Who mentioned anything about money? I said they are bad people. When you have that kind of power you tend to be a jerk. It's common that most rich people think they are above everyone else.   It's why these owners always get caught up in some scandal. There are more than we know about trust me. Some pay off people to keep quiet. Hell we already dealt with it with JR. My issue is not with their wealth. My issue is what that wealth brings which can be some evil tendencies...
