Well I do believe he deserves the best contract. But can the panthers handle another hugh contract like dwill and still be able to sign the rest of FAs and sign rookies and have enough to extend TD contract and Benson Contract this coming year. If it means giving up Dwill to keep money to resign guys we need then Dwill can go. I think we can survive with with the RBs we got currently.

Since we now know that CJ got this hugh contract. Could this mean Dwill might be gone. Because if CJ got this hugh of a contract. Just wonder what Dwill is going to ask for. The panthers still have to extend TD contract and have to resign Anderson aswell. Plus then they need to sign a solid CB and DT to help out on D and sign rookies aswell. he'll probably be getting $7mil/year. $8mil on the high end. thats a lot for an RB.

new QB is going to require one massive run game capable of running it nearly 600 times in a season. you need as much quality depth there as possible if you want to bring about any measure of success. RB is one of the strongest points of the team. you don't make a team stronger by weakening it's strongest parts.

TBH we should not over pay for Williams but giving him a good contract is a must. If he wants bank money let him leave but if he want to be a panther a fair deal is worth it.
