Signing Payne today doesn't make this prediction 100% correct, IMO. Seems as though the safety situation was going to get some attention no matter what. All the same, it could be interesting to see how Payne looks at 27 years old after lots of inactivity, he started for a full season in 2008.

No I did not say he wasn't. I said they will bring in another safety as well. Also Jets signed Holmes.

Expect Holmes to be announced soon or tomorrow. Have not heard anything about D-Will or any other free agents tonight. The Panthers have a big offer on the table for D-Will. It is also widely regarded around the league that the Bucs have a huge offer on the table for Aso. Houston will make and offer and the Jets has serious discussions with him today. He has to take less for the jets.

I hope when DeAngelo signs, we don't have morons bitching about how much money he will take up. He is a top 5 back. In my book, top 2 career wise. Quit your bitching and be happy we still have him.
