I love it. He can be going home to play NCAA 12 for all I care. Regardless, I want football on his mind. Fug the media and trying to impress the city of Charlotte with interviews. He has given them plenty up to this point. I want him 100% focused on August 13th right now. And I expect that same mindset for the following 23 weeks or so after that. Cram as much of the playbook as you can, soak in all the coaching, and build chemistry with guys like J. Stew and I can go to sleep every night knowing Cam Newton is doing all he can to prepare to be a starter and a great player for this team.
