Media already getting pissy because Cam doesn't want to talk

problem is the media feels like players are obligated to talk to them. they aren't and they whine when someone "ignores" them. i appreciate the news when i get it, but it isn't as important as they make it out to be.

they'll get their story, they always do. they just won't be tweeting it as early as they hoped. probably nothing to say at this point. newton's agent is probably in meetings with hurney. i'm thinking that hurney is probably preoccupied with trying to get things settled with the core players they want to return. i' rather he be spending his energy on guys who are question marks rather than those who are going to be here anyway.

Not with the way he's been portrayed here, no way the fans turn on him that quickly.

Media will be first

This is a board for fanatics. The people here are just a snapshot of a certain percentage of the fans. People here will defend Cam much harder than the average fan. Just as others will hate Cam more than the average fan(you fall into this category :) ). You act as if you and a few others are fighting a endless crusade against all the CAM "huggers" like you are the only ones doing this. There are literally thousands of you out there. Saying the "casual" fans will not be quick to turn is not far fetched at all. Look at all the good riddance Steve Smith post or I hope he gets traded post. Look at the f*ck Peppers post. A few misplaced quotes can literally change everything especially on this board.

Also, the Panthers own Charlotte tbh. You will never truly see anything overly critical to JR or the panthers as you would in lets say New York. JR would squash that immediately. Or worse shut the local papers out. That would be devastating to them. Especially with the thin tight ropes newspapers are walking now anyway. Nope, the media will be the last to turn.
