Not convinced he won't ultimately wind up here after checking out other options. Could depend on whether the outside interest in him is really legit.

I would fall into line with this, but I think if they changed their mind like that, it's very possible that we may have "tampered" with another QB and have an option ready with him leaving.

We can finally get rid of the guy who caused so much inane debate around here, and the guy who so many people treated like he was the next Joe Montana. Moore was never anything special. He was above average and a classic example of the mediocrity that this team has always been. These statements have nothing to do with Cam or Jimmy. I'm not saying anything about their abilities or lack their of, but I was getting so sick of our own fans dividing amongst themselves over the most important position on the field. I couldn't be happier Moore will no longer be here.

PS - TRD, you bring everything on yourself. Hopefully this season you won't waste as much of your free time being a troll and will support the Panthers.

You mean trolling? We have SaintJ and and some falcon fans here for that. We don't need a half ass supposed Panther fan for that. We have Fiz that is actually funny with his annoyance. Being that Moore is on his way out, you should chill on the trolling and lame attempts of being a smart ass and either debate like a real fan or follow your #1 QB or pick the best west coast team available and troll their board. Orton was told The Golden Calf of Bristol will start he didn't like it. So Denver is now looking for a trade for Orton. Miami looks like a option.

The Golden Calf of Bristol would be the only competition. Orton is out, Quinn is a worse Clausen.
