Because we as fans are grasping at straws, trying to find anything and everything that in our minds could possibly make DeAngelo want us over them. :willy_nilly:

yeah, we look down our noses at Cincy.....and they have won more games than us the past 2 seasons.

we have no need to overpay him...we aren't desperate to keep him

If the Broncos truly are out of it now as the rotoworld article says then that means either cinci or the Panthers offered him a large deal that the broncos jujst weren't willing to match...

or the broncos just want to address more important areas other than RB...i would hope we aren't stupid enough to give deangelo some crazy deal when we will be perfectly fine w/o him

if it's a mile above sea level and the air is really thin and you've got to be put on oxygen after every big play, he might care.

Maybe, but in that case it doesn't really matter if its located on the outskirts of Denver, or in the middle of the city. :)

I don't think Williams is going to go and play for Fox again, unless Denver makes a really big offer.

I have to wonder: If the Panthers have made DeAngelo anything close to a fair market value offer, then why hasn't he signed yet?

I don't think people realize how much it will hurt us to lose DeAngelo. Stewart and Goodson have shown flashes, but DeAngelo is the only real proven commodity we have at HB and like many have said, a rookie QB's best friend is a good running game... so we would be fools to let our best asset in the running game walk away.
