The Bengals' official website believes the team "called on" free agent DeAngelo Williams Tuesday.

It doesn't hurt to stay in touch with a team that severely overpaid for Laveranues Coles and Antonio Bryant in back-to-back years, though Cincinnati is an extreme longshot for Williams. He's expected to choose between the Panthers and the Broncos.

Ive been to Mile High Stadium. Its so bleak and bland there. Its on the outskirts of the city.* BoA is in a nice locale. DeAngelo will choose wisely.

Hopefully he can stay healthy this season. I'm confident in Stewart and Goodson, but D-Will is almost automatic in short yardage situations.

Looks like the broncos have other priorities:

The Broncos are apparently making their defensive front a priority over the running game. They made an offer to Charles Johnson before he re-signed with Carolina and are expected to be in the running for free agent Cullen Jenkins. Therefore, the Post says the Broncos are interested in cheaper options at running back such as Willis McGahee and Jason Snelling. For now, signs point toward Williams heading back to the Panthers.
