Yeah I agree, I'm not sure Bush would fit here. Never been a huge fan of his anyways. He is basically a receiver out of the backfield, not a pound it out RB.

That's if you plan on using Bush as Jim Brown. However, if you're a creative Offensive Coordinator, Bush can actually be a dynamic player.

But he really has no position to me. He might be suited better as a slot receiver than a RB. But I am not gambling on him or paying him just to be a receiver out of the backfield. We all should know he's no running back.

72 million is a lot but I think the 30 million in signing bonus not only sealed the deal but could be done so that Johnson cap number is not that huge for the remainder...not that 8 million per yr isn't huge. Also he is a young 25 yrs old and has 5 prime years ahead of him..its high now but average in 5 years..minus the signing bonus.

Carolina is a market if you have to get " 1st tier Free Agents"..they have to be paid if not overpaid.

DeAngelo(who I love) is a guy Id offer a good but not over done contract...agreeing to split time as a rb should eat into his value a bit..4-6 million a year 4 year contract..30-40 million 10-15 bonus..
