So you think in a shortened offseason, in a foreign system.....Clausen is going to have a good preseason? Chud's sytem from what we know plays to his weaknesses just like Fox's.

Would be nice but I think that is a tad overly optimistic. I doubt he sees the field in the regular season pending our roster is healthy.

Jimmy Clausen will be a decent qb, just not in Carolina. He will be included in some monster trade.

I don't consider any trade involving Clausen to be a Monster trade.

I don't think anyone here really knows what he is capable of after a season of no coaching and no receivers to throw to.

If there's one strength Clausen possess it's the ability to understand complex offences . He also has plenty of experience throwing vertical at his days at Notre Dame. And has a year (as bad as it was) of experience in the NFL.

While this doesn't assure us of anything, it does allow the possibility he can overcome the obstacles that Chud's offence would present. I wouldn't be surprised if he does well in the preseason. Being able to start is another matter.
