Once we sign our own guys, our salary will be likely at least 50 million over the salary floor because salary bonuses count as part of the 2011 salary so everything we pay Kalil, Johnson, Williams, Anderson, etc. counts toward the floor. From a cap point of view we should be fine and will likely go out and find a few veteran free agents. But we won't have to spend money to reach the floor at all. In fact the issue wil be where Richardson finds the 100 million to pay all these signing bonuses. They will likely have to borrow against the 140,000,000 in loans the NFL allows to each team.

And we surely don't have to go out and bring in a bunch of guys to reach the floor. Right now we almost have 20 free agents to sign or release.

Because Kalil is only Franchised for this year. Need to lock him up longterm while we have the money. Beason needs a new contract. Leaders on their side of the ball need to be locked up.

but they are under contract, the other guys are not. if we let someone else make an offer for cj we are screwed.
