Kris Jenkins interview

I thought the big news was what he said about Smith. Wants attention, "hot and cold" feelings toward others, called him a THUG because he wanted to pick on the weaker players. Very critical of his sucker punching teammates and expecting to be respected.

Is there a link to the interview yet? All the bits I've read in here are awesome, lol. He's always caught a lot of flack for some reason, but I appreciate what he did while he was here. He was a great player and I wish we would've never traded him.

On top of that, I like that he's putting it out there about Hurney and the way they've controlled things and manipulated what the fans hear. I get that there needs to be some muzzle on some things, but they've done stuff to the extreme and kept us at a distance for a long time now.

It doesn't sit too well with the fans, either. No wonder we got embarrassed at home sometimes. Running out of the tunnel to Britney Spears doesn't exactly say "destroy your opponent." This is football, not the Video Music Awards. I hope JR's new direction/philosophy with team extends to creating a more conducive game day atmosphere this season.

They should come out to this song, edited for a family environment, of course.

***CAUTION, EXTREME PROFANITY IN THIS VIDEO***

very interesting interview. points that haven't been mentioned yet:

He said he reads blogs, who knows he may be on the huddle right now?

Said basically that the Panthers and Foxy micro-managed his life, didn't feel respected as a man.

Said he is pissed about losing the superbowl to the Patriots who potentially cheated. (Hell yea me too)

Get the feeling he and Pep didn't get along too well. Then again his final point on Pep was "He's not a people person" Where by this interview I feel like Kris is. (Still can't believe Pep is surviving in Chicago, if he had gone to Philly or New York the papers would have crucified him by now)

Essentially the guy considers himself a football player and a man, and some things that went on in his time in Carolina didn't quite gel with that. I could see him and Rex Ryan being best friends after that.

Overall definitely worth listening to, certainly the opposite of a Fox interview

Great interview! Jenks just keeps it real, and that's what I like about him. Liked what he was saying; especially about Richardson. The culture here needs to change, and hopefully with Rivera and disaster we went through last year, it changes.

Glad to hear he's coming back and living in the Carolinas

Unfortunately, he's right about the wishy washy fanbase we have. I hope someday that people will become die hard fans and outnumber the opposting teams fans in the stadium. That burns me up.

I haven't had the chance to listen yet, can someone go in to what he said about the fans?

Basically: when the panthers are winning "everyone has got their black and blue on" when they are losing "while there are still the diehards, you probably will see more Steelers fans in the sections" he loved how the Jets fans were so loyal through thick and thin, he went on for a minute about Jets fans breathe football and are the "best fans of any sport"

I actually respect him more now for his honesty. I know the way fox and hurney were running things turned a lot of players off. You just have guys like beason who know how to be more professional about things. Guys like Jenkins and pep aren't going to put up with too much bullpoo. About our fanbase, it'll turnaround soon. You people in my age that really didn't have a favorite team like that because we were young teenagers when the panthers were born. The younger generation combined with us will start a true tradition of die hard panther fans. No disrespect to the older guys because I know there are some older die hards out there, but there are a lot that really have another team they root for on the side.
