I'm just happy we got Burney. This is the best group of undrafted rooks I've seen the Panthers pick up in a while(says the Tarheel homer):biggrin:

I'm a Heels fan too but you'd have to be completely stupid if you know anything about ACC football and think Burney isn't a steal here. I don't think its homerism. I will be completely floored if he doesn't pan out.

As far as UNC goes, still surprised Deunta Williams hasn't found a home yet. That injury was bad, but this is unexpected.

me too, but I think the injury was a LOT worse than we thought, potentially slowed him down for good, his strength was his ball-hawking ability which relied in part on his speed

I'm surprised Deunta isn't picked up either, but it won't be long. I wouldn't be surprised or upset if we brought him in either. Still confused on how we picked up that other LB instead of Sturdivant in the draft. I just knew Burney would go late in the draft, but now I'm glad he didn't.

I know you weren't talking to me, but people expressing their opinions is one thing. But god, we've sat through 5 months of a lockout and folks want to complain that we signed undrafted FAs at minimum payment from the national champions? I don't get it.

What's wrong with thinking a guy like Maehl would be a better option then Adams??
