The loss of practice time won't affect the more stable, established teams of the last few years. These teams with coaches still in place and lots of vets will be just fine after a week or two, if that. It may suck for teams like us with new coaches and also for younger more inexperienced teams.

I'm sure there will be a strange mixture, but don't expect the pats, steelers, etc etc too be any worse. I'm sure there will be a few playoff teams from last year that do have a rough season.

It could also help teams like the panthers though, as no one (not even the coaches haha), know what to expect.

heh also, dont the first 4 weeks of the regular season suck anyways? good football isn't played until mid season and later as games start to become more important.

yeah, but we might finally be playing like week 1 in week 5.

I don't think it's going to be that bad. All they have missed was a few practices in shorts and they made up for some of that with those player only workouts.

Heck, Cam Newton probably had 10 times as many snaps at IMG than he would have gotten in OTA's in Charlotte, and he didn't have to worry about cameras and microphones being in his face everyday.
