According to George Whitfield via twitter, Cam still wants the # 2.

I don't know if Cam is wearing #2 this season. I know he wants it. Have to see how it plays out....

If I was Clausen, I would want to get the # 2 off my back as soon as I can after the season he just had. Say what you want, but many players are superstitious about the # they wear. Clausen originally said he picked the # because he was taken in the 2nd round, so it was meant as a motivational tactic to remind himself of all the teams he was passed over by. Apparently Clausen wanted # 7 but Baker wouldn't give it up, so he settled on # 2. Not sure what significance # 7 has to Baker?

That was a backpedal from him saying earlier yesterday people should "expect #2" as if a deal had been already struck
