I was in the Corps, being from Charlotte and driving thru Fayettenam I would ALWAYS get pulled over by some former Bragg MP trying to get a rise out of Marines. Other than that, it's a shithole- like most military towns that have been taken over by pawn shops, dry cleaners, car lots, ABC stores tattoo joints and strip clubs.

You drinking today? That makes no sense. Look, if you are going to be a moderator and threaten people with your supreme power and authority (that I care nothing about), then stick to the guidelines that everyone agrees to when they register. Trying to impress your buddies with childish comments diminishes the reputation of every moderator on here.

No drinks for me, just percocet and sleep deprivation- but that's for clarifying your expectations of me. You inspired me to have Zod dock me one months pay as a self inflicted punishment.

I think it's too early to tell...

Common sense would say that any team with a new HC should be first to report... Like the worst teams report first...

I think the whole reporting in tiers thing is Wack... But I dont think anybody could be mad if the worst teams showed first...

Yeah, I don't get the logic behind it... You'd think after having virtually no offseason and only a month or so to makeup for all that time that all players and FO people would want to get in the facilities ASAP and catch up...

I was thinking maybe they were basing it off of the original dates that teams had scheduled for reporting, but I don't know.

In all honesty, some news does need its own thread. I would put this one in that category.

Often times, many of the threads get hijacked and turn their focus to faction battles or individual pissing contest, OR 4chan overkill... And somewhere within all of that, the real news gets lost.

Often times, readers aren't going to be able to, OR even feel like finding real news sandwiched between 3 images of "LOL WUT?," "CAN I HAZ CHEEZEBURGER," OR "OH HAI!" And most people don't want to filter through back and forths about who has the bigger cybercock to find pertinent info that the thread was originally started for.

So, I don't mind a new thread for different, important information as it breaks, so long as it is separate from other threads original topics.

And I appreciate you being on top of things and wanting to keep everyone informed TCF, but I think maybe the gripe from all the threads the other day was at that point we all had gotten so many reports only to have them disputed and then reported again, it was kind of pointless to try to post each update as it came... It seemed no report was entirely factual or accurate, so we were better off just waiting it out.

Other than that, I'm all for new and separate threads, as long as they are referencing something new and separate from previous threads.

This site has credibility issues. I was surprised that there was not a thread on this--so I posted one for everyone's convenience. This is about "moderator power" because a person linked this to another thread. Since the person making the connection is one who starts a lot of threads but has not earned enough huddle stripes, it became the sounding board for other issues. To say this belongs in that other thread is not logical. I just think that Panther fans could communicate with one another without being smart asses all the time. I wonder how it looks to fans from other teams. The majority of the posters on here act like frat boys, only more immature. They do not want other insights, opinions, etc. They made themselves moderators and probably had t-shirts printed up that say that across the chest, replacing their other uniforms that reflect previous positions of authority, such as the shirt that reads "LINE LEADER" in size 8. I will take my shots, retire my name on here, and interact with fans who are able to handle minor responsibility maturely. There are some good folks on here, but it attracts the dysfunctional losers like a bug zapper draws in moths.

Everything-one way or another-- on this site concerns the lockout. Just start one that says "NFL". Have you read the link to which you refer? Half of it has nothing to do with football. Nobody wants to wade through that crap--Find me the revised schedule--ESPN released it 7/23--that thread started several days earlier. If it specifically addressed the timetable, I would see your point. But to expect people to pack up to date news releases into a 20 page thread where people babble off topic is not like you.

Besides, the revised schedule is in the absense of a lockout, so why does it go into a thread called "All things lockout?"

that's reaching really hard to make a point, bud...

there is only one topic being discussed in the many threads that have started every other day saying "Lockout soon over" and then 5 hours later "major obstacle may delay CBA agreement"...

that's pretty damn focused for one thread, so saying we should just make an "NFL" or "NFL News" thread is pretty irrelevant...

I guess you could try to argue everything can be connected to the lockout due 6 degrees of separation..

but not really, if it pertains strickly to agreeing to a CBA or not, there is a sticky at the top of the page for it.

topics like, how much cap do we have? should we sign DWill? wouldn't go in that thread... you can try to connect those dots, but not really..
