What is our best short term option at qb?

Anyone on here viewing Matt Moore as a good Vet option is dillusional.

He has played a handful of games....played well in throw away games and sucked in the ones that counted last season.

Will he turn out to be a decent QB in time? Maybe. But he has NOT shown enough to put any type of confidence in.

If I had to pick a vet QB to sign in FA it would definitely be Mark Bulger.

Bulger and the other Coryell system QBs make sense.

They'll all know the terminology and they'll know some of the plays concepts and where to go against with the ball in a given play against different defenses.

That's the stuff that Cam needs to know.

Bulger is the best QB of the bunch.

Derek Anderson has played under Rob Chudsinkski

Then there are:

Boller, B-Rad G, Todd Collins and Billy Volek knows Chuds from San Diego

I personally think McNabb is our best short-term option assuming he becomes available.

this....

He is the only one possibly available that has a similar skilll set to Cam's . You cant expect someone like volek or bulger to be able to teach cam anything, plus if we started mcnabb from day 1 we have a better shot at winning.

Mcnabb is gonna want a lot of money that's why we're saying Bulger or Volek, we have other area to put money towards. Plus we aren't running a WCO

I dont understand why people say McNabb wouldnt fit here cause he's a system QB. Well, how the hell does Cam fit here if you think that? McNabb and Newton are very similar. The team picked the best QB in the draft. McNabb was still good the year before he arrived in Washington. Washington's offense was not set up for him to succeed and Shanahan is not a good coach. He still has a couple more good years left in him and will succeed if he goes to a good team. Regardless the system.

Totally disagree, first of all what is Mcnabb going to teach Cam, WCO? I dont think that is Chuds style. Maybe he will teach him how to be mobile in the pocket, I think Cams already got that in the bag. As for the rest of the vets, they can teach him things such as pocket awarness and presence at half the cost of Mcnabb. Im sorry I just dont see mcnabb being the answer for the panthers, maybe the vikes or the cards, but not us.
