What is our best short term option at qb?

Gradkowski wwould be a decent pick up.

Any success he has had has been from hard work as he has little talent.

Usually makes for a good teacher.

The 09 Pittsburgh-Oakland game showed how good he can be. Even though he's quite inconsistent, as a stop gap for maybe the first 4-6 games he would be a decent pickup.

Please no Gradkowski. He had a cult like following of Raiders fans from that one Steeler game. I watched him last year due to being a Campbell fan. Grad's record was 1-3 and he was hurt three times last year. He's a rah, rah type guy with nothing to back it up. He wouldn't even be a good mentor. He has an attitude of thinking that he is a lot better than he really is. I would rather see Mark Brunell come in than Gradkowski.

Unless you are going to bring in someone with experience in the "Chud" offense, which is an extremely small pool, you might as well stand pat. Cameron is going to start sooner rather than later. Why waste money on a QB who is not going to finish out the year?

The truth is, there is no one with experience with Rivera and his staff, because these guys are all together for the first time. We have no idea what these guys are planning, or what type of player they feel fits their master plan.

Which seems to me to favor one type of player over all the rest. The player who can prepare and perform at the highest level wins. The players who can digest and execute the quickest, have a leg up on the competition. I like the sounds of that. A roster full of players that can not only play, but that can play smart.

IMO, no one is going to out prepare or out perform Cameron. He has already proven he is willing to put in the time to learn the craft. Add in the obvious athletic gifts, and we have ourselves a winner. We are not going to the playoffs this year anyway. Why not let him show what he has?

We already have a young team with an inexperienced coaching staff. We are not going to set the world on fire. So we might as well see what we have at the QB position. I do not see Cameron shrinking from the challenge, I see him attacking it. Just like I see him attacking the enemy.

Not exactly what I am thinking, but close enough for now. And of course, GOOOO PANTHERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
