Think I busted a rib

Took a spill a few nights ago after a few drinks. I think - cause I blacked out. The only evidence I have is it hurts to breathe. How long does it take for a busted rib to heal? This poo hurts.

I fractured a rib and have inflamed cartilage in my sternum, it happened 6 months ago and it still hurts like poo some days. When I sneeze I feel like my chest is ripping apart from the inside out. It's slowly going away but it takes forever.
