At this point it looks like we will only miss a couple meaningless preseason games. It could have been much worse.

Why do we have to miss them??? Over men and their egos? And I don't think these are meaningless pre-season games this year... we now have 90 men roster that needs to be evaluated and trimmed down. We have new Coaches coordinators ect who has gotten no team practicing and teaching the team their philosophy. So at this rate the quality of regular season games will take a huge dive for a lot of teams if things don't start moving.

So I guess it's meaningless if yo want an inferior product right now. The point is we are close enough that there is no reason not to be doing everything to move forward right now.

We have questions at QB that preseason will help answer (as in, who is going to start game 1 regular season). This is not the time, as Panther's fans, we can call the preseason "meaningless".

I just read and I might be just reading too much into it that Ryan Kalil is coming back from a comic thing I think in CA and he said.. ---RyanKalil Had a blast @ San Diego Comic-Con! Not a ton of NFL fans but strangely a lot of @richeisen fans. Back to NC to get ready for camp. So he must know that camp will be taking place possibly next week. Good to hear.. but then again I might be reading too much into it.

Underhanded, manipulative and downright dishonest move by NFL Owners to publicaly announce their unanimous vote in favor of an "agreement" they hadn't bothered to show the other side with whom they'd supposedly been negotiating in good faith. This should have been bilateral.

The two sides were (possibly) near agreement; there is no need for gamesmanship at this point.

I mean, who the fug does that?

People you hate in your day to day lives thats who.

The Owners were in the right, the league thought they had a handshake deal in place with the players and were under the belief that the players would vote the same day. Players didn't get the CBA paperwork in time and couldn't vote.

A lot of those tweets you read were false, some of those players said some things before they got the CBA draft.

They were supposed to get the draft earlier...

It's a who do you believe game and will be a game of one up till it's signed.

Also the Players seeming to not want to be a union again is funny, they knew when this started and they de certified that they would have to re certify for a CBA to be finalized. They just playing games as well.

One of the things that players ended up saying they didn't agree to that was in the NFL's CBA they voted on, was the Global settlement.

The players want the Anti Trust to be settled outside of this CBA proposal and let court run it's course so those players can get a benefit from it.....

:puke:
