Use some common sense man. Don't just buy into the BS Dumbass Smith is selling. He's a lawyer dude. He's trained to lie.

The Union Decertified after negotiations broke down on March 11th. They went from the negotiation table as a Union to being a Trade Organization helping the players form a class-action lawsuit in less than an hour.

If you read this and think the NFLPA* is being honest to the public here, you either taking their side for a vested interest, or are ignorant to the facts.

Here is a writer's take on it that I agree with...

I couldn't agree more.

Players can take a look at the deal the owners ratified on Thursday all they want.

But there will not be any more negotiations. Not according to Mark Murphy, the president of the Green Bay Packers. Murphy said in a conference call with Packers media that the owners have “put our pens down.”

These guys are working the gamesmanship perfectly. No surprise from businessmen of this nature.

1) "Vote" on a deal with items the players didn't even know about

2) Immediately act "baffled" when the players don't vote on it immediately

3) Tell the players "take it or leave it."

What items HP?

What is it exactly that the Players didn't "know about" apart from some language about the union and decertifying?

(Which anyone can see is a sham)

If I were the owners I would have done the same thing. The ball is in the NFLPAs court and if they want to keep posturing then they can make a ass out of themselves in the public eye and at the table. There nothing more the NFL can do on there side and everyone knows it.

The players are rich. The owners have worked their ass off and have always been poor. They are the owners and the can do however the please. Durr

Please tell me you really don't believe this.

Players average $900,000 a year in the NFL. And that doesn't include endorsement deals.

If they are still "poor" after even 3 years of getting paid like that, I can hardly give them any sympathy.

Typically in negotiations both sides get to see a final draft of any documents. If a party pulled the crap the owners pulled during a negotiations I would walk away as well.

It would be like buying a car and the salesman handing a contract that you had not seen and acting surprised when you didn't sign it. Basic business etiquette.

If I buy a car, and the dollar amount changes, I'll walk away.

But the economics on this deal have been done for a week (as reported from BOTH sides).

If I buy a car, and they have some fine print about future service claims at the end of the car's life, if the price is right, I won't give a poo. I would give an even less poo if that signing the contract for that car will ensure I get paid to do my job.

There is no arguing with black.

He is the epitome of right.

If I am proven wrong, I'll admit it.

But god damnit, if everything I've read indicates the players are being idiots, I'm going to call it like I see it.

I've asked what the "items" were that got thrown into the deal. I've yet to see an answer on that.
