Party Down

Anyone here watched the seasons of Party Down on instant Netflix? If you like Parks and Rec or The Office, you'll probably like the show. Has the same kind of feel. Basically about a troupe of aspiring actors working a catering job and they get into all sorts of crazy shenanigans (trying to the word shenanigans back. Also trying to bring back "color me *blank*")

Funniest scene...when Ron Donald chugs an entire bottle of whiskey at his HS reunion, then goes outside and hits on the organizer lady, and then starts power vomiting on the ground going "call an ambulance!!!!"

Fun fact about the show, the cast came to Austin and were in character for a night at the Alamo Draft House, then just partied. Ron Swanson was there (Nick Offerman) because his wife was on Party Down. I didn't go but I had some friends that did...sounds like it was awesome.

Was an awesome show. If Adam Scott hadn't taken Parks and Rec, it probably would have continued. Shame really.

The writers are actually writing a movie to kind of conclude the series.

My favorite episode is when they catered the draft party and the dude ended up coming out of the closet live on ESPN
