The Panthers didnt even squeak... Not a single report in neither KFFL nor Rotoworld. No visits scheduled, no players signed. Last time that happened Fox said "We're getting all our starters back" Thats the season Panthers went 7-9 and no playoffs (right after making NFCCG).

im sure if we had the money to sign anybody we would. but as of right now we cant afford to do nething

Nonsense... I bet you if they let me look at contracts and play around I would clear up poo load of cap space... I know Hurney can do better. Cap space is for us fans not for the teams. Look at Redskins for example.

The whole "we'll have 21 of 22 starters back" was not after the 2005 season when we went to the NFCCG, it was after our 8-8 2006 season.

We owe it all to #90.

probably that but i wonder what we would be doing differently had he signed.

i know the initial outlay would not be as much but it still would have put a big crimp into what we would/could do.

still, i beleive that we will do something. it doesn't have to be right now.

just because we haven't moved doesn't mean that we aren't going to.

Why the rush?

Fox & Hurney have a history of not doing much in the 1st week of F/A

I'd figured after having a shitty DL all last season they would try to improve it... Draft class for DL sucks this year. I dont want Peppers on this team... The guy want clearly out and played with no heart for the past 3 years... why in the world do we pay him 17 millions?

or that... To many 7-9 seasons... forgot after which one that was. But the point is... we sucked.

I like the FA period after the draft better. Players released for only one reason. The player drafted is a replacement. Too many(not all) on this FA period are released because of personality or character issues. So if we don't do anything all off season then I will worry, and remember we got Harris in August.

Cause Minter retired... we wouldnt trade for him otherwise.

    • been living in town since March of last year after spending 15+ years out on a farm in the middle of nowhere.  Snow was beautiful out there, but always meant a lot of work dealing with the long driveway and long dirt road out and onto paved roads that were the last in the county to get plowed. On normal days it always took 20 minutes to get anywhere. when it snowed...yeah. forget about it for a couple days. still had to go to work, so i'd have to drive on all these narrow and windy snow covered backroads after dealing with my driveway and putting up with the nasty red mud slush on the dirt road. if there was an emergency or some kind of urgent issue that required you having someone drive in or going out, it was just a major stressor.  anyways, i'm just looking forward to snow in the new house in town, where my driveway is really short and the roads are plowed. i want snow that requires no work or stress on me. most people probably love the idea of being snowed in out in the country. been there. done that. i'm looking forward to snow coming in town and being able to get out and about if i need. hopefully we have some this year.
    • I don't think it will be a complete stomping at all. That's not really the 2024 KC team. They have only scored 30 points once this season(shootout versus TB) and their biggest margin of victory has been 13(vs. the Saints). I guess they clearly show better versus the NFC South but not THAT good. Not by their recent years standard.
