Yeah this game does kinda suck. I'm doing the head coach mode as the OC at Miami of Ohio. The OL can't block worth a damn and LB's can jump like Randy Moss to bat down passes. Ridiculous.

On the bright side, I love the create a playbook feature. I have fun putting in and taking out plays with it. My only problem is you can't re-order the formations as you want them to appear.

I do have some complaints about the game. Although I'm on a 7 game winstreak online... I've had to win at least 3 of them on the last possession, usually because I've thrown 4-5 INTs in the game, lol.

Honestly, I don't think passing is the worst part of the game. Sure, it's harder to pass and DBs are making ridiculous Willie Mays type catches on INTs at a ridiculous rate... But, the reason they're making so many INTs, IMO?

Because the RUN GAME f*cking SUCKS! I've been using SC b/c they're stacked in this game, best team I've used besides Oregon... And Lattimore can't even break a long run with 96 speed...

I've noticed even against the cpu offline, that unless you run out of a specific formation, you're only gonna get about 10 yards at the most. It's very rare if ever, you can break off big gains, and most gains are about 4 yards or less. Way too many 1 yard gains... And with a RB that has 96 speed, once he gets outside of the tackle, he should have the corner and be able to cut it up the field... Nope.

I'd understand if you couldn't easily break it outside if this was madden, but this is college football. Also, if you have a speedy returner, it is still way too hard to get 10+ yards on punt returns. It's horrible. It's like the biggest flaw I've noticed in the game - it's like regardless of attributes, a fat ass DL can run down a guy like Lattimore from behind, and that is just not realistic. It's like if a defender gets within a certain range of the runner, the runner is magnetically pulled back to the defender.

That's my biggest issue with the game right now... that and the insanely athletic MLBs as you guys have mentioned, jumping up and knocking down passes in an unrealistic manner.

But, the lack of an realistic run game/yards after contact concept makes you feel like you have to pass to get anything done.

I've just adjusted to it and figure, if you get more INTs than them, you're gonna win, so you have to play a gambling style of defense.

Other biggest complaint int he game - it just feels clunky. For instance, when I've had an opponent roll out of the pocket and I'm in a zone, I switch to the player in the flat to run him down b/c there isn't a pass to make there... Meanwhile, he's started to throw, so, as I'm pressing circle to switch to the flat, and am holding right to start running once I get this player, the CPU decides it's a good idea to go ahead and give me the DB that's covering the deep pass the guy is making... So, what happens is I unknowingly am given the DB who begins running a b-line straight to the bench b/c I'm holding right anticipating I'll get the player in the flat. Catch is made, no defender is there, TD.

This has happened a MILLION times already and it pisses me off beyond words.

Other than that... Great game, lol.

His Acceleration is 88 that's why people catch him .. but anyhow running has to be one of the easiest things in the game. just on past versions you had to break it outside , on this one you can follow your blocks so normally i ride my fullback through the line and put one analog stick juke ( not the right stick because that creates an animation that normally gets you tackled ) on the backer/safety and it's off to the races.

Not to mention I average 3 picks a game online, which is absurd. I got my ass beat when I was Notre Dame online and I think I threw 5 interceptions.

Like I said before, I'm disappointed in the game big time. Hopefully the upcoming patch can address these issues.

I've found a specific formation that works for me with the run, and it is mainly inside/power runs that works.

Passing isn't my problem, I'm pretty good at calling the right pass or calling an audible to a better play once I see the defense.

Like I said before, I'm disappointed in the game big time. Hopefully the upcoming patch can address these issues.

I try not to pass much online for that very reason and if I do its usually through a screen or a deep play action bomb to Jeffery. Stick to running off the tackle and you should usually get 5 yards a carry.

@Proudiddy a good formation I like to add to my playbook is the maryland formation it has 3 runningbacks in it
