Okay, still having fun with the dynasty mode offline, but it gets a little recruiting heavy which can become boring after awhile... But, it always calls you back, lol.

AND I played 2 games so far online... I don't really buy the NCAA series to play online, I prefer Madden. I excel at Madden. I remembered why I don't like NCAA online as much when I played these games. I won the first one by like 25 points, and lost the next one by a FG or so... But, I absolutely hate the way the game itself handles online... It is SOOO much slower than Madden and the players feel a lot more slow to react and glitchy/clunky.

Really don't enjoy the online play compared to Madden for those reasons, but the competitive aspect keeps calling me back, lol.

also, pastapadre said a patch is coming very soon to fix a lot of the BS.

I'm gonna keep playing it online till Madden is out, b/c I'm sure I'll get heavy into that then - it just feels more natural to me.

I hope the patch does change some of this on NCAA in the meantime... Man the defense mechanics and AI is HORRIBLE. I can't overstate how bad it is. Had some problems on offense as well with glitchiness... Just very unnatural feel to the gameplay in general and a lot of hitches in the player motions that I've noticed.

Wow, after trying out several different teams with different results... I've found that Oregon is pretty good... BUT SC IS BEASTMODE in this game.

I used Michigan once and f*cking Robinson AND his backup got knocked out for the entire game during my first possession. Won't be using them again, lol.

how do you stop the 4-2-5 defense I can't do poo against this guy

I don't know if I've played against that yet, but I believe I did last night... Some guy was completely shutting down my run but had enough DBs to make the pass game difficult. Essentially that's a Nickel though... You just got to figure out where their pressure is coming from and if they're in Man or Zone.

I eventually started making plays on the guy once I saw where he was sending blitzers from. Try a screen to loosen him up and back off from the blitzes.

I run the 4-2-5 exclusively .. i'd be glad to give you some pointers .. what kind of offense do you run?

@ proudiddy .. the 4-2-5 has 3 safeties more often the not the 3rd safety and a backer or a backer and a corner are the ones blitzing .. it's rarely just 1 guy .. the beauty is .. you can play a strict cover 2 all game long and still bring ass tons of pressure.

Screens ( hb slips I mean ) don't really work on me because there is usually a tightend on the side you are sending the screen to .. so you can adjust your coverage to the left and send the blitz from the right and more often than not the corner we'll come around from behind and tackle the ball carrier or the ball is just batted away by the basic cover 2 .

Quick pointer for you mr TD .. if you like to run the ball .. HB Draws and counters will work if you can tell where the blitz is coming from.

Thanks for the info SC... I actually just played a guy who was using Michigan and I gave Ohio St. a try... I was losing 24-21 with 25 secs. left, made him turn it over on downs, then took it all the way down the field and scored a TD to win the game with the backup QB in because Pryor got knocked out.

Epic.

But, I believe he was running 4-2-5 at and I was having a hard time getting anything going at first... So, I went to 5 wide so I could open it up and see where he was bringing the pressure from and then was hitting one of the WRs streaking up the side running next to each other - whichever one the coverage came off of.
