Today's "Oh You Thought The Lockout Was Almost Over? Well..." News

I know how you all feel. I need football real bad. If the deal does not get done today--I can virtually guarantee it will be complete tomorrow. The owner's don't want this to go into the weekend and the player's are running out of excuses. Let's get this season underway.

Free agency is going to be frantic --can't wait to see it.

The players are stalling to minimize the amount of time they are in training camp.

And some actually thought that the players were the good guys.

Good Point...and they can push that envelop just so far before it results in losing pre-season games from the schedule. Which in turn can trickle down to lose of reg season games.

I don't blame the players-it's freakin hot in training camp, but the risk of injury due to improper preparation is a greater evil in my opinion.

I predict the defenses are going to control the game for the first 4-6 weeks of the season. Defense is instinctive-the offense takes time to perfect, time that they have not had so far this year.

Not really... I'm sure it'll be one if those games that requires u to update your system and download roster updates b4 u even can play the game online...

All he'll have to do is put different players on different teams... The uniforms will synch up automatically...

Quite possible but I read that the players will be voting after the owners do. My opinion they didnt vote yesterday just to get the final say today. Either way it goes those fuggin players are freakin hilarious :rolleyes:

Now they are saying that they must recertify the union to vote....and that it will take 2 weeks to get all of the cards signed and back in.

Pathetic attempt at stalling by the players. We all know they hate the preseason and don't actually get paid for it....they get reg season game checks. Shorten the pre-season and they are happy.

Wonder what kind of jobs if any would these players have if they were not playing football and making millions?

Probably at lest 40% of them would have a job that included the phrases..

Do you want fries with that.....

Or, Welcome to Wal-mart....

Adam Schefter says the owners will probably vote, then send it to the players with an ultimatum. Not really surprising, but it could put some pressure on the players.

@adamschefter

Told this is "very likely true." RT @dkaplanSBJ: Owners will vote on global deal today and hand it off to players to say sign or don't sign.
