You are right perfection is required for Young to succeed as ive said but you framed it better ill add to it, a simplified game plan, reduced playbook, to help with his size and arm strength. No such thing as a qb sneak anymore The box gets stacked as there is little chance of a successful deep ball so stop the run, stop the offense Ive read that the lack of arm strength has to do with his setup and foot work. I dont care the reason anymore i just don't ever see anything with him than his floor is his ceiling I want to be wrong but im not -
Unless he has a Cam Newton level year where he goes undefeated and wins the national championship, has nothing left to prove in college, I see Manning probably starting for 2 years at Texas. But I wouldn't be shocked if he came out in 2026 either.
