FWIW, like TCF, I am a very strict "Bro's before Ho's" kind of guy. I think it's because he and I share a mindset that stems from certain training and a natural personality type that some Gubment organizations find highly desireable.

Wimmen come and go and because your buddy shares texts does not neccessarily mean he is cool with you hitting it.

Maybe he is trying to mask something like guilt or remorse for dumping her and hooking up with another gal. 4 years is a long time for a relationship nowadays (especially since they got together when she was 15) and they could be a memory away from getting back together.
