Proves the owners were not willing to give up a single game. The players should have stood firm and gotten anything they wanted. Well, if they could negotiate they would not have to play football for a living. I hope they have learned.

Not true.

This is an idication that both sides realized a couple of things:

1. losing games reduces the pot for everyone

2. losing games would cause an even bigger problem with fans

Both sides grew up and decided to put in a deal that was equitable and made sense.
