when did I say he wasn't? Smitty probably won't be here and he's on the decline and has been for years. Guys who rely on speed fall off a lot faster than guys who don't. Smitty is my favorite Panther of all time by the way. All players eventually fall off.

He's always had the potential. He finally put it together when the Vikings got a competent quarterback, and then suffered a bad injury. By the time he got back he was dealing with meltdown Favre and Joe Webb.

Potential doesn't make him a top receiver. Until he consistently plays at a high level I don't see how he is a top receiver, especially after he missed most of last season.

Said he asked him what he was doing and he responded that he couldn't talk about it but said "read between the lines" (or something of that sort).
