I just don't see another veteran QB other than Delhomme that could serve the needs that of what we want.

Most of you opponents want a starting QB as a vet. I doubt that will happen. We have 2 QB's that we want to battle it out, begin getting more experience, most of all Cam.

Why would we need a McNabb that would only get in the way of progression of the future of our franchise? That doesn't make sense.

The Panthers aren't going to go after someone like McNabb who wants to start. That is wasted money, and JR doesn't spend money frivolously like that.

As well, McNabb doesn't have the greatest reputation now after the fail season he had in DC. McNabb's team was the eagles, he had his run, now he just has to realize that he isn't a starter anymore, at least not for a team like the Panthers.

McNabb would be better suited in Tennessee, Seattle, or Minnesota, where the QB position is a huge question mark.

So who else is there that is better than Delhomme, but isn't McNabb?

Chad Pennington

Marc Bulger

Those are the only other options as I see it. I like the idea of Pennington, depending on that shoulder.
