Back to Rocky Bernard, did anyone really want us to sign a guy who averaged 4 sacks a year and just happened to scrape together 8 1/2 sacks before he became a FA.

I'm sure that he will do alright for the NYG because thier line is already so strong but I would rather the Panthers spend money elsewhere than on a mediocre DLman. Especially at $4 mil a year

Well, you did want an interior pass rush didn't you? Because aside from throwing a year's worth of total revenue at Albert Haynesworth, that was the best option available, and one of the lone bright spots in an otherwise awful Seahawks squad.

He's a line disruptor (Jenkins type) unlike Kemoeatu, and he's also an every-down lineman, unlike Damione Lewis.

4 mil a year is a steal compared to what the Skins paid for Haynesworth. Bernard is more than half the player Albert is and was given a contract for a 1/4th the money.
