Hey huddle some of ya may know I'm JOAT's younger brother.

His surgery went well, only a minor issue occured when the Dr knicked his spinal coloum and he did lose some spinal fluid. He also lost a good bit of blood during surgery. He is ok, awake and moving as if everything is fine. Dr's not sure 100% if that issue with the spinal fluid will be a factor, but are optimistic that he will recover just fine. I will be going back in the morning and hopefully he can update this for himself. If not I will update as soon as I can.

Thanks for the prayers and words of encouragement, I know he appreciates it. As do I and the rest of our family.

So let's see...JOAT's last post pre-op was 7:31 AM on Wednesday. The we get the "I'm alive" at 1:42 PM yesterday.

I don't care what you say - my man had some serious back/spinal surgery, and only 30 hours and 11 minutes between posts (in this thread). That's fuggin boss! Glad your okay JOAT.

Thanks, feeling better today but still really sore. Feel like I've been run over from behind.

The bed here is atrocious, hope I can bust out of here tomorrow.
