Pep to New England *rumor*

Jay glazer actually reported us talking with NE about Peppers for Cassel, and we balked at Cassel wanting 30 million guaranteed.

Thank god for miracles.

I usually believe everything Glazer says so I must say that geeze oh man if Cassel wanted 30 mill guaranteed that is pure nuttiness on his part. Though I do believe that the Chiefs took Cassel at the FT figure with no new deal in place.

I'm reminded how much I hate you all.

Agreed, although I'm constantly reminded...

For example,

And if it does happen it pisses me off now that Haynesworth is off the market. If we could do it and add Nate Washington, Bryant McFadden, and Jovan Haye, and Dewayne Robertson along with the picks (hopefully 3 1st and 2nd rounders over the next two years) I'd be a happy man. If this is possible. GET TO WORK HURNEY. f*ck the Pats and I hope Pep shows them his legendary work ethic.

Dude, seriously? You REALLY believe we will be getting THREE 1st rounders AND a 2nd over the next 2 years?

You also mentioned, TWO first rounders and a 2nd this year and then ONE 1st rounder and ONE 2nd rounder next year.

Are you kidding me? And if that deal is done, only then will you be happy? You raise the bar high, above all reality and dreams... Good luck with that...

Bellichek didn't want to help out another departed assistant by trading Cassell to Denver - that's the only viable explanation here, because the Bucs offer was better than KC's offer.

Patriots now have cash to spend and spare draft picks to trade. I can seen them trading for Peppers.

So do we have a Cutler situation where Delhomme will resent the fact that we were trying to replace him?

If Denver is shopping Cutler, then we should trade Peppers to them - they play a 34 defense.

Perhaps I didn't write it correctly, but regardless, get off my dick. I meant, 3 picks total out of the next two drafts from the 1st and 2nd rounds, meaning = any combination of a 1 and 2 2009, and a 2 in 2010, or a 1 this year and a 1st, 2nd next, perhaps even a 2 2nds this year and a 1st next year.

It's the f*cking patriots man, who have pilfered and ravaged the league (both in talent and on the field) for almost a decade now. Yes, while 3 total picks over the next two years from the early rounds of the draft may be a high price, and slightly unreasonable... So is the amount of talent they are stockpiling. That's why i would do it for no less than 3 picks over the next two years from the 1st and 2nd rounds. Glad I could clarify, chill out.

Get your head right, I'm not one of the many f*cking douche bags that appear daily on this site posting crap like "Let's trade for Peyton Manning" or "Tom Brady could be had for a 3rd rounder and Pep" or "Larry Fitzgerald is our for a 2nd this year and a 2nd next because it worked on my game of Madden!"

If you took that post and ran with it because I didn't express myself correctly then you are just as bad as them - because I have been here for a minute... And I don't mix fantasy football and reality like so many do on here.
