I'm a mentor every single day... It's awesome but can be a hassle if your life is not on solid ground. If you're solid then go for it.

Those kids need someone to get them out of their worlds... If u are stresses when u pick them up, it will do them no good

I was a mentor. She's all grown up now doing great & has a child of her own. We still have a great relationship.

I was thinking about doing the same thing. I know I am still a F up but if I didn't have a mentor when I was 16 or so I would be dead or in prison right now.
