And it may end up to be entirely true, but it's not proven to be at this point, it's just an opinion at this point. Evidence is telling me that it may not be true, don't know, but there is a lot of data out there that says it may play out differently than your opinion, that's all I'm sayin'...

And I admire your opinion, don't have any problems with it. I just think that things may turn out different. Not sure they will, just have a feeling. I certainly feel that he will be here this year, I'm a little sketchy after that, but feel pretty certain that we are content for this year...

At this point who knows whats going to happen with Peppers. He may be traded, he may not. Something I am certain of is that teams, more than one, will contact the Panthers about Peppers. That doesn't mean he will be traded or accept any trades offered or more technicaly sign a long term deal. But there will be teams interested. Hell, a team, allbeit the Lions, contacted the Panthers about trading for Lucas even when most felt he will be cut sometime in the off season.

Apparently we've talked with NE about him. Before Cassel was traded, read somewhere that Jay Glazer reported that we were in talks sending Peppers to NE for Cassel. But cassel wanted 30 million guaranteed and we balked.

Not sure if it's true or not, just interesting.
