Pep isnt coming back, he will sit before he comes back. He has moved on mentally and the idea of him coming back, getting booed, getting asked a bunch of questions and just dealing with the whole mess is too much for his underdeveloped brain. He might even enjoy taking a year off, he isnt that passionate about the game after all. He isnt exactly strapped for cash either

Belecik above any other coach could maximize Peppers abilities and also motivate him. I would be scared to death if I were Buffalo or Miami if they did get Peppers. Brady back and Peppers, Pats and Giants would be the SB favs if that goes down.

I understand that and understand your frustration with it. I just don't think Peppers is done in Carolina. You can post all kind of reasons and evidence that it is and I still remain unconvinced. My reasons? His home is here, we changed the entire defensive scheme for him and his mom is here, he's not going to leave, IMHO only.

As good of reasons as any, except all that was there before he said he wanted out. The problem goes deeper than scheme. I believe Pep has an issue with Fox or Richardson, only explanation for the bizarreness of this situation.

And that's a valid point, no question. It's gone beyond that now though, and I think there are extenuating circumstances to it. I think the change of defense, the pull of teammates and the strong stance of the Panthers to keep him will prevail. That's all I'm saying, I just think he's here to stay, though if we got quality compensation, I'd be fine with him gone...

That's your mindset and your opinion. That doesn't mean it's the Panthers mindset and opinion, just that it's yours. And it may end up to be entirely true, but it's not proven to be at this point, it's just an opinion at this point. Evidence is telling me that it may not be true, don't know, but there is a lot of data out there that says it may play out differently than your opinion, that's all I'm sayin'...
