The Broncos are actively shopping Jay Cutler

Pretty much, but there's a little more to it now.

For those who don't think Cutler has a questionable (and I'm being generous) attitude, you might want to take note of this from Peter King.

Sports Illustrated

So here you have a guy who asks to be traded, but it doesn't happen. Then when the team actually talks about trading him and the story gets out, he goes to the media and acts all indignant because the team talked about trading him :sosp:

Yeah. That's a guy I really want on my team

(I'll pass, thank you)

No, you're not kidding Mr. Scot, not at all. Don't know why so many have a hard-on for a malcontent, but it's apparent they do. That playoff game is just still too fresh...

i like it that they are rising above the wishes for leftwich and orlovsky, and thigpen. still.....just because someone has all the skills doesn't mean that they are going to be a good fit for the team (any team). his attitude and personality is going to hold him back and may turn him into a disgruntled apathetic journeyman throughout his career. he doesn't have the fire and it doesn't seem like he can lead a team.

makes me wonder, is cutler emo?

Normally, I disagree when I disagree with you, but this time not so much...

I don't understand why Cutler is trash talked by us... It's not like he punched a fellow teammate in the face or anything.....

I hate that it happened, but I love how people throw this in the face of others who are talking down someone's maturity, team play, or character.

However, one thing I have to say that sets that apart from other incidents is that I really believe Smitty felt really fuging bad about that situation. Whereas, others may say they're sorry, but we feel they aren't being up front with how they really feel.

Maturity, or lack there of, specially in a leader, does affect how the team plays. How his teammates respond, and play for him.

THANK YOU.

Yes Smitty has done worse but he does not want to be nor is he a team leader in this way. Your QB HAS to be...I have different behavior standards for QBs than I do for other positions.

That must be why Big Ben's well known immaturity has held the Steelers back.....

oh wait.

BB is a drama queen, and likes to make things public that he shouldn't, yes. But he has always had some vet leaders on offense like Bettis and Ward. Denver doesn't have that. Still, I don't like that type of me me me me me personality in a QB...so I would take a guy like Pennington over Cutler any day.

interesting.

i tend to agree with that. penny's arm scares me but he is a tough minded individual who got dealt a crappy hand in NY and did the best with what he has. well respected by everyone he has played with from what i know.
