The Broncos are actively shopping Jay Cutler

I would give them Peppers, Stewart and Delhomme for Cutler

Wow thats fckin stupid. If anything it would be Peppers for Cutler period no more no less. You want to get rid of Stewart whom has elite potential written all over him and is part of the best RB tandem in the NFL. Ill take Stewart over a number of backs. We have the best 2 RB in the NFC( Yea I fugin said it) and you want to get rid of that? We just now got the crushing run game that fox has been dreaming of for the past 7 years.

Delhomme meh ok whatever but at least he has got some 4th qtr magic. I would not trade him he'd still be a good #2.

I will say this though if we don't pick up a QB this offseason draft or FA, especially if a franchise caliber QB could come to us and we turn them down then it speaks alot of how highly they value Matt Moore.

As much as Cutler has annoyed me because of my NCSU, and therefore Philip Rivers, homerism, I would love to see Cutler under center for the Panthers. Peppers for Cutler straight up, I'm not crazy about but if you throw in Ken Lucas and then maybe get a second and third or something like that, I would love it.

I don't know if it has been said. But McDaniels only wanted Cassel over Cutler. Because you know, he worked with Cassel. They weren't "shopping" Cutler. The only way Cutler goes is if McDaniels thinks he is getting another elite QB.

..

So, your insult is that I mis-spelled Stewarts name? Is that all you have?

Still does not refute the fact that you are a complete idiot for suggesting that Peppers, Lucas, and Stewart for Cutler is not one of the dumbest trade suggestions in the history of the NFL.

Please go back down to the basement in your mom's house and play with your X-Box. It is apparent that your understanding of value in a trade is limited to Madden.

To play devil's advocate, it appeared to me on highlights that Rivers' was more of the instigator a few years back...

...I could be wrong though.. ;)

Pretty much, but there's a little more to it now.

For those who don't think Cutler has a questionable (and I'm being generous) attitude, you might want to take note of this from Peter King.

I heard one other interesting thing Sunday: Cutler asked for a trade shortly after the Broncos lost offensive coordinator Jeremy Bates -- Cutler's confidant -- to USC after the season. So maybe both sides need to go into marriage counseling here.

Sports Illustrated

So here you have a guy who asks to be traded, but it doesn't happen. Then when the team actually talks about trading him and the story gets out, he goes to the media and acts all indignant because the team talked about trading him :sosp:

Yeah. That's a guy I really want on my team

(I'll pass, thank you)

No, you're not kidding Mr. Scot, not at all. Don't know why so many have a hard-on for a malcontent, but it's apparent they do. That playoff game is just still too fresh...

Do you run a church league?

Seriously who cares, the vast majority of pro athletes in any sport are not stand up people or citizens.

Yet sports are so popular, and it isn't because of how saintly a person the players are.

Well, from my understanding of what happened, he was being shopped in a possible 3 way trade for Cassel. That fell through. He is no longer actively being shopped.

The new coach was looking to trade his current QB for one he has personally worked with.

So why are so many people assuming that the Broncos are just going to continue shopping Cutler?

To me, sounds like he also has maturity issues. Not a good thing.

for me its not the playoff game...iv loved jake since day one an i still do....however he doesnt have much time left...and IF he doesnt do well this year then chances are we will be looking for an upgrade next offseason...so the question now becomes "Do u try an get Cutler who is a QB on the rise that can be our franchise QB for years to come? Do u draft a QB an hope he pans out? Do u go with mcown or moore?"

I just dont see how u could pass up a chance to get cutler...if u think our running game is good now, just think how many defenses would now have to worry about our passing game!! it would allow dwill an stewart to run wild!!
