The Broncos are actively shopping Jay Cutler

We'd be a pathetic organisation if we didn't seek him with Peppers

I wouldn't go that far.

While I agree that Cutler is a more talented QB than Delhomme, I don't think he's as good as some in this thread have hyped him to be. He's at kind of a crossroads now where his attitude could be just "Dan Marino" or it could get to full blown "Ryan Leaf", so he's not risk free.

I would agree that this trade idea is unrealistic from both sides of the coin.

Kid's a gunslinger that wants to throw the ball 30 times a game. That isn't going to happen in our run-first offense. I don't think he'd be happy here, and as we know he has a mouth on him, that could turn out poorly for us. If he knows what he's getting into here, I'd say its a worthy trade. I think it would be better to have him than Delhomme. And I'm sure Cutler would love chucking the ball to Smitty.

holy sh*t peppers for cutler please for hte love of god

So you wouldn't trade a 17 million dollar DE pushing 30 who doesn't want to be here for a young all-pro franchise QB?????????

If by some miracle Denver is dumb enough to take that deal, we should send them Peppers and Delhomme.

Can you even imagine what Culter and Smitty could do together????? Can you imagine what Cutler could do with a running game and offensive line like ours?????

He is not an All Pro....nor is he a franchise QB, obviously...

I am not a fan of his....he is not the kind of QB I want on our team...he has not "LEAD" a team to a winning record since high school....

Has all the physical gifts..but no leadership qualities.

Sorry, no thank you.

Hahaha, I'd love to see Delhomme lead a team to a winning record with Denver's 7 injured RB's and bottom-of-the-league defense. And everybody knows Vanderbilt is like the black hole of college football.

If we could trade Peppers for Cutler, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Offer them Peppers, Delhomme and our 2nd

No way they actually trade him though

Oh hell no :nonod:

Give up a franchise DE, a starting QB, leave us with no first or second rounder and all we get in return is a quarterback who while physically gifted has some attitude issues and hasn't really stepped up as a leader?

Not in a million years.

I would give them Peppers, Stewart and Delhomme for Cutler

I hope you're joking :sosp:

Exactly. Talent alone isn't everything...especially when it comes to being in a position of leadership.
